We configure it with separate asset groups per product category, audience signals based on first-party CRM data and conversions with dynamic value. The result: Google's algorithm learns faster, bids on the right queries and reaches high-value users.

Meta Ads: Facebook and Instagram for latent demand

Google captures conscious demand: people already searching. Meta Ads intercepts latent demand: people who don't yet know they need your product. This complementarity is fundamental for a complete multi-channel strategy. On Meta we use Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns for e-commerce, lookalike audiences generated from first-party CRM and Conversions API (CAPI) for reliable attribution data even with iOS restrictions.

Budget allocation: how we distribute spend across channels

There's no magic formula for budget allocation. We start from data: we analyse keyword search volume (for Google), audience size (for Meta), average sector CPC and historical conversion rate. We distribute the initial budget with a split test across channels, measure ROAS per channel in the first 4-6 weeks and reallocate towards the best-performing channels. The process is continuous: every week we optimise allocation based on real data, not forecasts.

Yes. Microsoft Advertising reaches an audience complementary to Google, often professionals and decision makers with higher purchasing power. Average CPC is lower and competition is less intense. For many of our B2B clients it's the channel with the best ROAS.

How long does campaign optimisation take?

First results are visible in 2-4 weeks. Full optimisation requires 2-3 months because bid strategy algorithms (tROAS, tCPA) need sufficient conversion data to perform at their best.
